The Recycled Sportswear Polyester fabric - Basic is a sustainable and versatile option for sportswear and swimwear. With a composition of 93% polyester and 7% elastane, its weight of 145 gr/m2 and width of 145 cm make it an ideal fabric for crafting various garments. Furthermore, it boasts GRS certification and is recycled, making it an environmentally responsible alternative.
The printed design of this fabric is characterized by an abstract, watercolor, artistic, and modern style, with a multicolored palette that makes it ideal for creating striking and fresh garments. The predominant colors in this design are blue, green, pink, and yellow, allowing them to be combined with neutral tones like grey or white, and to add a more colorful touch with vibrant tones like orange or red.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, meaning its not a double-sided printed fabric but rather single-sided. Regarding its characteristics, the fabric is soft to the touch and has a flat, smooth texture, making it comfortable to wear. Its perfect for sportswear, swimsuits, and board shorts for men, women, and children, as it allows great freedom of movement.
Care instructions for this fabric include not bleaching it, washing at a maximum temperature of 40°C, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. Its important to follow these instructions to maintain the quality of the fabric and extend its lifespan.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. This is a digital textile printing process used to transfer designs onto synthetic fabrics like this recycled polyester. Special ink is used that evaporates when heat and pressure are applied, allowing it to permanently integrate into the fabric and seemingly become part of it. This process ensures high image quality and excellent resistance to wear and washing.
