The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. It comes in a width of 150cm and is perfect for use in lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, bikinis, leotards, and leggings. In addition, this fabric is high quality, chlorine resistant, with very high UV protection 50+, and a very pleasant feel.
The printed design features images of nature, water, and waves in vibrant multi-colors. Furthermore, given that the design has this aquatic appearance, it can be combined with fabrics that feature blue and green tones, giving a more coherent feel regarding its theme. This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which guarantees high quality and durability of the print.
Regarding the attributes of the fabric, it is important to highlight its elasticity and resistance, which makes it perfect for sports and swimwear. In addition, its very high UV protection 50+ makes it ideal for garments that will be exposed to the sun. On the other hand, regarding applications and uses, in addition to those already mentioned, its use in the manufacture of bodysuits and close-fitting garments should also be highlighted.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important to wash it in water not exceeding 40ºC, do not use bleach, and do not tumble dry. In addition, it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. It is recommended to iron at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the elasticity of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, which provides high image quality and greater durability than other printing techniques. Sublimation is based on the transfer of ink through a process of heat and pressure, which provides vivid and uniform colors.
