The base fabric is the Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Atenas, a knitted fabric composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its design, printed with sublimation technology, is characterized by its complexity with the representation of natural elements such as stones and rocks, as well as architectural elements like walls, all in multicolor shades. The printed fabric would combine well with solid colors that harmonize with the warm tones of the prints, such as beige, cream, or brown.
On one hand, the fabric stands out for its softness and elasticity, making it ideal for fitted garments. On the other hand, the design printed with sublimation technique provides the print with unique sharpness and definition. The applications and uses of the fabric are diverse, ranging from the creation of lingerie and pajamas to the making of knitted garments, sweaters, tops, and dresses for both men and women. It would also be suitable for accessories such as scarves, foulards, or socks. Furthermore, the fabric could be used for making living room or bedroom blankets, as well as for creating dining napkins.
Regarding care, it is important not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a low temperature. The fabric is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used for the creation of this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the printed design to the fabric through the application of high temperature and pressure in a sublimation process. This achieves greater definition and fidelity of the colors and details of the printed design. It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side only by digital textile printing, so only one side will feature the printed pattern.
