Lycra Polyester Fabric - Cairo is an elastic fabric with a soft touch that makes it very pleasant on the skin. Its composition, 90% polyester and 10% elastane, and its weight of 220 gr/m2, make it a resistant and durable fabric. The printed design on this fabric is simple but very striking, with snowflakes representing multi-colored ice. This design can be combined with plain colors such as white, dark blue or black to create interesting contrasts. It is important to note that this fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
Regarding the characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight its elasticity and softness to the touch, which makes it very comfortable to wear. Additionally, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+. The printed design, for its part, is simple in its complexity but very effective, as the snowflakes clearly symbolize the coldness of ice.
Lycra Polyester Fabric - Cairo has multiple applications and uses, some of which are sportswear for men, women and children, lingerie in bodysuits and bras, womens and mens fashion in knitwear and tops, and it is also suitable for creating scrunchies. In swimwear, this fabric can be used for making bikinis and swimsuits for both men and women.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40 ºC. It allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a cool temperature. Finally, it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which means that the printed design is integrated into the molecular structure of the fabric itself, making it resistant to wear and fading.
