Recycled Lycra fabric - Recycled is a Lycra fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric is GRS certified and sustainable, as it is made with recycled materials. In addition, it has characteristics such as its softness to the touch, its elasticity and being chlorine resistant and having a very high UV protection factor 50+. The printed design presented in this fabric has a standard complexity with a very colorful watercolor style, with a predominance of multi-colors. This design could combine perfectly with plain fabrics in blue, green or pink, for example. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing.
Regarding the uses of this fabric, applications such as the manufacture of bikinis and sports swimsuits, as well as other accessories such as scrunchies or hair ties, can be highlighted. Thanks to its elasticity and its resistance to chlorine, it is an ideal fabric for swimwear.
As for care, it is important to avoid bleaching and not dry cleaning the garment. It is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40°C and always iron it at a low temperature. This fabric cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is sublimation (polyester). This printing process is carried out with special inks that evaporate and impregnate the fibers of the fabric, thus ensuring that the design is permanently captured in the garment.
