Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is a type of soft, shiny fabric made of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed design of this fabric combines wavy shapes with elements of nature, such as crystal clear water and the sea, creating a sense of movement and freshness. The main colors are multicolor, which makes it very versatile to combine with other plain colors like light blues or greens.
This fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing. The texture of the fabric is soft to the touch and shiny in its visual appearance, making it perfect for fashion garments and decoration. It is important to mention that this fabric is suitable for upholstery of chairs, sofas, and armchairs, and for making clothing such as pants, jackets, blazers, among others.
It is necessary to take certain precautions to maintain the quality of this velvet fabric and its printed design. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it in water at a maximum temperature of 30°C. It should not be dry cleaned, except for dry cleaning with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This high-quality printing technique is based on the transfer of inks through heat and pressure, which guarantees a detailed and sharp image on the fabric surface. This process also ensures durability and resistance to washing and wear.
