The fabric in question is the Punto Jersey de Tacto Algodón - Atenas (Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Athens), a knit fabric composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is a soft and elastic fabric, ideal for knitwear such as sweaters, cardigans, dresses, and tops, as well as accessories like scarves or shawls.
The printed design on the fabric features a decorative wave style, simulating the flow of crystal-clear water in the sea. The predominant colors in this design are multi-colored, making it perfect for combining with other solid tones such as white, black, gray, light blue, and pink.
It should be noted that the fabric is digitally printed on one side only, meaning it is not a double-sided print but a single-sided print, which allows for a better result in terms of the sharpness and definition of the design.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has a soft and elastic texture, while the printed design stands out for its decorative style and the representation of the natural crystal-clear water in the sea.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those already mentioned, it is also perfect for lingerie, pajamas, living room and bedroom blankets, as well as childrens knitwear such as blankets and sweaters.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene. It is suitable for cool ironing and should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that involves transferring the ink to the fabric using heat and pressure, achieving high resolution and fidelity in the printed design.
