The Riga elastic knit crepe is a fabric with an abstract printed design featuring natural plant motifs in canary yellow, seagreen, and acid green. The design has a grainy texture and is digitally printed on one side. The fabric is elastic and has a soft, grainy feel. It can be used to make various garments for both women and men, such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear.
To complement this design, solid colors such as black, white, yellow, green, beige, or pastel shades can be used. In terms of general characteristics, the fabric is elastic and has a weight of 180 gr/m2 with a width of 150 cm. It is timeless and can be used in any season.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, due to its elasticity and soft touch, it is perfectly suited for garments that require mobility and comfort, such as dresses, jumpsuits, and knitwear. It can also be used for more fitted garments like skirts, pants, and t-shirts.
It is important to note that the fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, bleach should not be used, and dry cleaning is permitted except with trichloroethylene. It should be ironed at a cool temperature and can be tumble-dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation with polyester. This printing technique involves a process of transferring sublimation ink onto paper and then applying it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows the design to be permanently fixed on the fabric without affecting its softness or elasticity.
