Recycled Lycra - Recycled 190 gr/m2

The Recycled Lycra fabric - Recycled is a 190 gr/m2 elastic fabric, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. Its chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+ make it an excellent option for use in swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits. In addition, its GRS certification makes it a sustainable fabric as it is recycled.

The stylized botanical and floral print design in multicolor is perfect to give a touch of nature to any garment. This design could combine very well with plain colors in pastel shades such as dusty pink or mint green, as well as with white and black. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side.

As general characteristics, the fabric is soft to the touch and very elastic, which makes it ideal for fitted garments. For its part, the printed design provides that natural and fresh aesthetic that makes it perfect for summer garments.

Among the applications and uses of the fabric, scrunchies and hair ties stand out, as well as swimsuits and bikinis. However, it could also be used in fashion garments such as dresses or tops.

It is important to note that, for its care, the fabric should not be bleached, it can be machine washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and ironed at a cold temperature. Likewise, it is not recommended to use a tumble dryer or dry cleaning.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This technique consists of printing the design on special transfer paper for sublimation, and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. In this way, a sharp and durable print is achieved on the fabric.
