The Riga Elastic Knit Crepe is a fabric with a composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, with a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is abstract with brushstrokes and represents nature and modern art, with a standard complexity. The main colors are multicolored, with predominant sky and sunset tones. It could combine with other plain colors such as white, black, navy blue, or dark red. The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing.
The fabric is elastic and has a granulated and soft texture to the touch, which makes it perfect for fitted and comfortable garments. In addition, thanks to its composition, it is resistant to wear and wrinkles. The printed design, on the other hand, stands out for its complexity and beauty, being perfect for elegant and sophisticated garments.
Among the most common applications and uses of this fabric are the making of dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear, both for women and men. It is an ideal fabric for timeless fashion garments and for special occasions.
To care for the Riga Elastic Knit Crepe, it is important not to bleach it and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at a cool temperature and tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture the Riga Elastic Knit Crepe is sublimation (polyester), a process that uses special inks that evaporate under high temperatures and fuse with the fibers of the fabric, creating a durable design resistant to wear and washing.
