The Prada Twill fabric is a 220 gr/m2 twill fabric, mainly composed of polyester (96%) and elastane (4%), with a width of 150 cm and a soft and thin texture to the touch. Its printed design stands out for its mosaic-style and artistic complexity, with a great combination of vibrant and multi-colored hues, reminiscent of stained glass. This design can be perfectly combined with solid tones of black, white, or different shades of purple.
The fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which means the design is only visible on one side of the fabric. The fabric is characterized by its softness and delicacy, making it ideal for fashion garments such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and scarves.
Regarding applications and uses, in addition to those already mentioned, the Prada Twill fabric is perfect for making summer clothing due to its lightness and comfort when worn. It can also be used in the making of accessories such as cushions, curtains, and mobile phone covers.
It is important to consider the care instructions for the fabric: avoid using bleach and tumble dryers, and wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. This fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a low temperature.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, a process where ink is printed on transfer paper and transferred to the fabric using a heat press. This method ensures design fidelity and long-lasting durability in the garment.
