The Satin - Amsterdam fabric, of the satin/raso type, stands out for its shiny appearance and its smooth, thin feel. Its printed design is characterized by its very simple complexity, with a vector pattern of lemons in shades of off-white, canary yellow, and golden yellow on a corn silk base. This print combines perfectly with plain fabrics in off-white, yellow, green, and blue tones.
It should be noted that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it does not have a print on both sides. In general, the fabric has a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, which allows its application in both mens and womens fashion garments, as well as in lingerie and accessories.
Specific applications of the fabric include the manufacture of shirts, blouses, kimonos, skirts, pants, and tops, among others. The texture of the fabric and its softness make it ideal for sleepwear such as pajamas and lingerie dresses. In addition, due to its shine and softness, it is also an excellent option for bridal wear and for making scarves and accessories.
Regarding its care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The fabric can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a warm temperature. It is important to note that the fabric can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink to the fabric through heat and pressure. In this way, a high-quality and durable print is achieved, which does not wear out with use or washing.
