The base fabric is a thin, water-repellent material called Storm, a 100% polyester technical weave. It has a weight of 70 gr/m2 and a width of 145 cm, making it ideal for fashion, home, and sports applications, especially for making jackets, shower curtains, and raincoats. Furthermore, its suitable for the winter season and features sublimation printing technology.
The printed design boasts attributes such as zebra animal print, African cultural influences, a decorative style, a tropical style, and its main colors are night black, sepia brown, and chestnut brown. This design pairs very well with solid plain fabrics in colors like white, beige, and light brown.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side, which allows it to be utilized in any sewing project. This fabric offers characteristics of impermeability, water repellency, thinness, and a smooth feel, making it ideal for clothing or decorative items for both home and office.
The Storm fabric is easy to care for, though with some restrictions. Bleach should not be used, the maximum washing temperature is 40°C, dry cleaning is not recommended, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature. As for drying, a tumble dryer should not be used.
The sublimation printing technology used in the production of this fabric is the printing process by which ink (in a gaseous state) is transferred onto the surface of the fabric to create a high-quality and durable reproduction. This process is widely used in the production of high-resolution prints on technical polyester fabrics.
