Cotton Touch Jersey Knit - Athens

The fabric we are discussing is the Jersey Knit with Cotton Feel - Atenas, composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane. It has a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design stands out for its zebra animal print style, with a strong influence of African culture and a tropical and decorative touch. Its main colors are night black, sepia brown, and chestnut brown. The design combines very well with solid colors such as white and different shades of brown, beige, or sand.

The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means that only one side of the fabric features the printed design. In terms of its general characteristics, the fabric stands out for its soft and elastic texture, being very pleasant to the touch. The design, for its part, is very striking and elegant, with a strong connotation of the African savanna and its fauna.

The applications of this fabric are very diverse, including lingerie, pajamas, womens and mens fashion such as jerseys, tops, knitwear, dresses, and cardigans. It is also ideal for use in interiors, such as blankets for the living room or bedroom and napkins for the dining room. Due to its animal print style, it is perfect for childrens clothing and accessories, such as blankets or socks.

Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene and ironed at a cool temperature, but it should not be tumble dried.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process by which special inks are placed on transfer paper to be transferred from the paper to the fabric using high temperatures and pressures.
