Nairobi polyester lycra is ideal for sportswear, lingerie, and swimwear, thanks to its texture, stretchy feel, and chlorine resistance. The printed design features a vector pattern of eyes and circles in predominant shades of dark purple, iceberg blue, and cotton white, which can be combined with other solid colors such as black or white. This fabric is printed with the single-sided design using digital textile printing.
The fabric has a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, a weight of 270 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. It offers very high UV protection of 50+ and is suitable for dry cleaning; it does not allow the use of trichloroethylene. Its applications include making bikinis, swimsuits, or sports leggings.
It is important to note the care instructions for this fabric: it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach, iron at a low temperature, and avoid tumble drying. Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation, employing polyester-based ink that adheres to the fabric through heat and pressure, resulting in a detailed and durable print.
