Nairobi polyester lycra is a type of elastic and resistant fabric, mainly composed of polyester and elastane, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design stands out for its complexity and colorfulness, with stars as main shapes and a combination of several multi-color tones. This design can be combined with plain colors such as black, blue, pink, or green to create more discreet or daring looks. It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing.
Regarding its general characteristics, this fabric has a soft texture to the touch and a chlorine-resistant finish, in addition to offering a very high UV protection of 50+. Combined with the star design, clothes made with this fabric will be an ideal choice for sportswear, lingerie, swimwear, and leggings. Likewise, in fashion, it can be used as a material for swimwear, daring designs, and sportswear for men, women, and children.
It is important to take into account the necessary care to keep this fabric in good condition. It is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at maximum temperatures of 40°C, iron it at low temperatures, and not use a tumble dryer. Dry cleaning is also recommended, except with trichloroethylene.
The fabric printing technology is sublimation, which uses sublimation ink to transfer designs on paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process ensures high print quality and vibrant and durable colors, in addition to being environmentally friendly. In short, Nairobi polyester lycra with its complex, colorful, and star-printed design is an ideal option for making sportswear, swimwear, leggings, and lingerie, and with its simple but specific care, a long lifespan of the fabric is ensured.
