The Polyester Lycra fabric with the Nairobi design is an elastic and resistant fabric, ideal for sportswear and swimwear. Its print features a modern and colorful art, composed of lines, squares, and polka dots. The main colors are white, blood brown, and light orange. Additionally, it could be combined with solid colors such as black, navy blue, and green. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing.
The fabric has general characteristics such as a soft texture to the touch and great elasticity, which makes it perfect for fitted garments. It is also chlorine resistant and has a very high UV protection factor 50+. As for the printed design, its modern and colorful style makes it ideal for youthful and striking garments.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, we highlight its utility for the creation of lingerie, sportswear, swimsuits, bikinis, tights, and leggings. This fabric can also be used for the creation of leotards and competition swimwear, thanks to its great elasticity and chlorine resistance.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to maintain the maximum washing temperature at 40ºC. In addition, it allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, cold ironing, and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a process in which ink is transferred to the fabric through heat and pressure. This allows for high-quality and durable prints on the fabric. It is important to note that the design is printed on only one side of the fabric, so its positioning must be taken into account when cutting and sewing garments.
