Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The Chanel Tweed fabric is a 420 gr/m2 polyester fabric, 150 cm wide. Its printed design combines abstract brushstrokes and multicolored colors, characteristic of modern art. This design, with standard complexity, is distinguished by its smooth texture, which gives it a rigid appearance. This design can be combined with plain fabrics in white, black, red, or blue. The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has a rigid feel, typical of tweed, making it ideal for making jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, blousons, vests, shorts, or Bermuda shorts. In addition, it is also suitable for creating cushions for the living room, bedroom, and kitchen, as well as for outdoor decoration.
It is important to note that Chanel Tweed fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. It is not recommended to bleach it or use a tumble dryer. When ironing, it should be done at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a process that involves digitally printing the design onto transfer paper, which is then placed on the fabric and subjected to high temperatures. In this way, the design is impregnated into the polyester fiber, creating a permanent design resistant to fading and washing.
