The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, which gives it a soft and pleasant feel against the skin. Its weight is 270 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. On the other hand, the printed design is a complex style with an abstract and photographic pattern in multicolored tones, which could be combined with solid colors such as black, white, orange and green, to create interesting contrasts. It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the printed design on one side by digital textile printing.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric is elastic and chlorine resistant, with a very high UV protection factor of 50+. The printed design is very complex and abstract, with photographic elements that give it an artistic and modern touch. Its applications and uses are very varied, it can be used to make lingerie, sportswear, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards and leggings, as well as to create fashion designs. Additionally, the sublimation technology with which the fabric is printed, guarantees the fixation of colors and a high resistance to washing and use.
As for the care of the fabric, it is important not to bleach it and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It accepts dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a cool temperature. It is not recommended to tumble dry it, as it could damage the fabric and the print.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of applying a transfer with the printed design onto the fabric and subjecting it to high temperatures and pressures so that the design is permanently transferred to the fabric and is resistant to washing and use. This process guarantees high print quality and durability of the design on the fabric.
