The Paño - Glasgow fabric is a high-quality textile composed of 93% POLYESTER, 5% VISCOSE, and 2% ELASTANE. Its weight of 380 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm make it a perfect fabric for outerwear and jackets. Its printed design, an abstract style with brushstrokes and modern painting techniques, is presented in multicolored tones, highlighting colors such as black, white, pink, blue, green, and orange. This design can combine very well with plain fabrics in dark tones like black or gray, or even in more vibrant shades like red or yellow.
The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing, which gives excellent quality and definition to the printed design. Furthermore, its texture is soft to the touch, making it very comfortable to wear. The fabric is used for a wide variety of applications and uses, such as outerwear, jackets, and even accessories like coasters for the table. Its main season is winter and autumn/winter 2021.
The Glasgow fabric requires certain care to maintain its quality and prolong its lifespan. It should not be bleached, and it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The garment does not allow dry cleaning and should be ironed at a warm temperature, avoiding direct ironing on the printed design. Likewise, it should not be tumble dried as it can damage the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture the Glasgow fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves transferring the design to the fabric by vaporizing special inks. This process results in a very defined and long-lasting design, with vibrant colors and high-quality finishes.
