The Recycled Lycra fabric is a lycra knit with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a total weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric is sustainable and ecological, as it has GRS certification and is recycled. Its printed design has a very simple complexity and is inspired by the nature of the sky. The main tones of the design are multicolored, highlighting blues and whites that symbolize the sky and clouds. In addition, this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing.
This fabric is very soft and elastic to the touch, making it ideal for sportswear and swimwear, such as bikinis or swimsuits. It is also chlorine resistant and has very high UV protection 50+, making it perfect for outdoor activities. On the other hand, the stamped design symbolizes the tranquility and calmness of the sky, which makes it very suitable for relaxed and casual garments.
Among the most outstanding applications and uses of this fabric are the manufacture of hair ties and scrunchies, as well as sportswear and swimwear. In addition, the printed design is perfect for relaxed and casual clothing, such as t-shirts, tops or dresses.
Regarding care, it is important not to bleach this fabric and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it cannot be dry cleaned or tumble dried, while ironing should be done at a cold temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high-quality digital printing and a wide variety of designs and colors. This printing process is performed only on one side of the fabric, which provides a soft and durable finish to the printed fabric.
