The fabric in question is Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support, a knitted fabric composed of 95% polyester and 5% elastane, which gives it great elasticity. With a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm, this fabric is very versatile, being ideal for the manufacture of lingerie, knitwear, sports accessories, among others.
The printed design is complex, in a home decor, modern art, and mosaic style. Featuring brick shapes and stone nature, multicolor tones predominate. Additionally, a combination of solid colors, such as black, white, and gray, can be added to highlight the main colors of the printed design. The fabric is printed with the design on one side by digital textile printing, which guarantees high print quality and definition.
This fabric is characterized by being soft to the touch, elastic, and visually opaque, which makes it very comfortable to wear. On the other hand, the printed design adds great complexity and originality to any garment or accessory made with it. The most common applications and uses of this fabric are those mentioned above, but it can also be used in the manufacture of sportswear, such as tops and leggings, due to its great stretch and recovery capacity.
Regarding care, it is important not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, ironed at a cool temperature on the reverse side of the fabric, and should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the printed design from special paper by applying heat and pressure. This process guarantees color fidelity and great durability of the print on the fabric.
