The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a corduroy fabric with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is simple and romantic, featuring hearts in white, light blue, and navy blue tones on a colored background. It could be combined with plain colors such as white, gray, or dark blue for a soft and elegant contrasting effect. The print is only on one side and is made using sublimation technology on polyester.
The fabrics texture is soft to the touch and shiny to the eye, making it ideal for decoration and fashion applications. Its applications include upholstery for chairs, armchairs, and sofas, the manufacture of trousers, overshirts, jackets, and blazers, and the production of bags and backpacks, among others. It is a winter fabric due to its thickness and composition.
Regarding care, the fabric should not be bleached and it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It cannot be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a cool temperature. It also cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process involves transferring ink pigments to the fabric by applying heat and pressure. The result is a print permanently fixed on the fabrics surface, resistant to washing and rubbing. Additionally, sublimation allows for high-quality and high-definition prints, with a wide range of colors and precise details.
