The Punto Roma Elastic - Lyon fabric is a knitted fabric with a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, which gives it great elasticity and comfort. With a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is designed for use in mens and womens winter fashion garments such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters. In addition, this fabric is also suitable for making napkins.
The printed design used on this fabric is very symbolic and refers to elements of nature, more specifically to trees and the landscape in which they are found, with an oak tree being the center of attention. In addition, it has certain decorative aspects for the home, thus highlighting comfort and nature close to the home. The design is composed of wood textures and a multicolor combination of green, brown, ocher, and orange tones predominates. This design could be combined with solid colors such as green, ocher, or brown, for a more harmonious and pleasant result.
It should be noted that this fabric is digitally printed on one side only, which means that the design is present only on one of its sides. In addition, its texture is soft to the touch, providing greater comfort when worn.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, it has good resistance, softness, elasticity, and comfort, the latter being very important in garments that will be in contact with the skin. The applications of this fabric are diverse and are directly related to fashion and the area of decoration, both for clothing and for household items, since as we mentioned previously, it is suitable for making napkins.
It is important to highlight the care this fabric needs to maintain its quality intact. It is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at temperatures below 30ºC, and do not tumble dry. In addition, dry cleaning is allowed, with the exception of trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is the sublimation process, using a digital image printed on special paper and then permanently transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process is carried out in specially designed machines and is used in most textile production.
