The fabric is an elastic Roman knit, called "Lyon", with a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 282gr/m2 and a width of 150cm. Its printed design is very simple and decorative, with a wool texture and several main multicolor colors. This design could be combined with plain colors such as black, grey, navy blue, burgundy or dark green.
The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for high resolution and detail quality. The base fabric has a soft texture to the touch and is ideal for making knit garments such as tops, t-shirts, trousers, dresses and jumpers, as well as for dining napkins. It is perfect for the winter season.
As for care, Lyon fabric needs a maximum of 30ºC in washing, bleaching and tumble drying should be avoided, and it can be dry cleaned except for trichloroethylene. In addition, it should be ironed at a cold temperature.
The printing technology used in Lyon fabric is sublimation (polyester), a technique that allows high-quality designs to be printed on synthetic fabrics like this one, by transferring ink from a printed paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique allows the print to be fixed on the fabric and maintain the softness of the fabric.
