The Crepe Knit Fabric - Riga is a crepe-type fabric composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, with a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features a combination of simple stripe shapes in night black, cotton white, and army grey, forming a zebra animal print, ideal for fashion garments for both women and men, such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear. This design boasts attributes such as simplicity, stripe shapes, and home decoration.
The combination of main colors in the printed design allows its use with other solid colors such as passion red, mustard yellow, or emerald green, which accentuate the animal print resembling zebra stripes. It is worth noting that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which guarantees high quality and definition of the printed pattern on the fabric.
In terms of its general characteristics, the Crepe Knit Fabric - Riga stands out for its elastic and granulated texture, making it very pleasant to the touch. In addition, thanks to its sublimation technology (polyester), its design remains intact even after multiple washes and uses. The fabric is ideal for fashion garments due to its versatility and elegance, but it can also be used in home decoration, such as in cushions or curtains.
The applications and uses of this fabric are very broad, as its elastic texture allows it to adapt to fashion garments such as dresses or skirts, but it is also ideal for pants or t-shirts. In addition, thanks to its knit fabric, it can be used in knitwear and cardigans. Due to its elegant finish, the fabric is ideal for making clothing for more formal occasions, but it can also be used for more casual garments.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene and it is advisable to iron it at a low temperature. Finally, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring an image through heat and pressure onto the surface of the fabric. This process guarantees the high quality and definition of the printed design, achieving greater durability over time.
