The Lycra Polyester fabric - Cairo is a high-quality elastic fabric, durable and soft to the touch. Its composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane gives it excellent elasticity and resistance to wear and washing. Its weight of 220 gr/m2 makes it an ideal fabric for making sportswear, lingerie, tops, and bikinis.
The fabrics printed design is botanical and floral in nature, with artistic flowers reminiscent of natures style. The main colors are multi-color, highlighting pastel and vibrant tones that enhance the beauty and freshness of the design. Additionally, this fabric combines perfectly with solid tones of blue, green, and pink. The fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which gives it a crisp and detailed look.
Regarding its general characteristics, the fabric stands out for its soft texture and excellent elasticity. Furthermore, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+, which makes it perfect for making swimwear and sportswear that require protection against UV rays.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the making of sportswear for women, men, and children, lingerie, bodysuits, bras/bralettes, and scrunchies. It is also ideal for making fashionable tops, bikinis, and swimsuits.
For the care of the fabric, the manufacturers recommendations must be followed, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40°C, not tumble drying, and ironing with cool temperature. In addition, it allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). Sublimation is a digital printing process that uses special inks that turn into gas when applied to the fabric and then are permanently fixed to it by applying heat and pressure. This process ensures high print quality and maximum durability of the print.
