The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is an elastic and soft fabric with a composition of 82% POLYESTER and 18% ELASTANE. This fabric stands out for its high chlorine resistance and a very high UV protection factor (50+), making it ideal for swimwear, lingerie, and sportswear. Its printed design is floral in nature with a very simple complexity, with a predominance of midnight black, dark red, and viola violet colors. This design can be combined with plain fabrics in neutral tones such as white, gray, and beige. The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its soft and elastic texture stands out, making it very comfortable to wear. In addition, its high chlorine resistance allows it to maintain its shape and color for a long time. On the other hand, the printed design has a very simple complexity, which makes it ideal for garments that want to stand out for their elegance and simplicity. The printed fabric is suitable for swimwear, lingerie, and sportswear.
Regarding its applications and uses, in addition to what has been mentioned above, this fabric is ideal for making leotards, leggings, bikinis, and swimsuits. Since it is an elastic fabric, it adapts perfectly to the body, which makes it very versatile in terms of designs and patterns.
It is important to note that this fabric requires certain special care for its proper conservation. Bleaching is not recommended and it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is possible, with the exception of trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and the use of a tumble dryer is not recommended.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink through special paper to the fabric through a process of heat and pressure. This method allows for greater definition of the design and its durability over time.
