The Polyester Lycra fabric, Nairobi, is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. This fabric has a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design, with an artistic and drawn style, has a standard complexity and is composed of different shades of jay blue, darkslateblue purple, and grape purple, which gives it a modern and original touch.
The printed fabric with the single-sided digital textile printed design is soft to the touch and elastic, making it perfect for making lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear, swimwear, bikinis, womens/mens/childrens clothing, leotards, leggings, and bathing suits. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+, making it ideal for summer and water sports.
Nairobi fabric is also easy to care for, as it can be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, allows dry cleaning (except trichloroethylene), and can be ironed at a cool temperature, but cannot be tumble dried. It is a durable and resistant fabric that maintains its shape after several washes.
The printing technology used to make this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the colors of the printed design to be printed with great sharpness and to be fixed in the fabric fibers so that they do not wear out or fade. This printing process allows a wide spectrum of colors to be used, resulting in very varied and striking printed designs. This fabric with its printed design is perfect for those who are looking for a resistant, elastic, and original fabric for making different garments. In addition, it can be combined with plain colors such as white, black, gray, navy blue, or light purple, among others.
