The Glasgow cloth fabric features a printed design with a home decor style, where rose flowers in green, red, and honey tones predominate. This single-sided digitally printed textile has a soft and pleasant texture, perfect for making garments such as coats, jackets, vests, blazers, and jackets, as well as for creating textile elements for home decoration like coasters and altar pieces.
This printed design combines the best of nature with an elegant and feminine aesthetic, allowing for the creation of attractive garments with personality. Along with the main tones of green, honey, and maroon in the design, Glasgow cloth could also be combined with solid colors such as black, white, and brown.
In terms of its general characteristics, this cloth fabric is resistant and durable thanks to its composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, which gives it a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Additionally, this cloth fabric is ideal for winter and autumn/winter 2021.
Glasgow cloth is a versatile type of fabric used in multiple applications, such as clothing manufacturing and home decoration. It is commonly used for making coats, trench coats, jackets, vests, blazers, and jackets due to its strength and durability. Likewise, its softness makes it ideal for crafting altar pieces and coasters that require a gentle fabric for human contact and object protection.
Regarding fabric care, it is important to note that Glasgow cloth does not allow the use of bleach or dry cleaning. The garment should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40 ºC and ironed at a warm temperature. Also, it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology for this fabric is polyester sublimation. This printing process allows the pigment that makes up the ink to permanently adhere to the fabric fibers, achieving high-definition color and image quality.
