Recycled Lycra is a soft and elastic fabric with a weight of 190 gr/m2, composed mainly of polyester and elastane. Its printed design with floral and rose motifs on a background of honey dew green, olive drab green, and garnet red gives it a natural and elegant touch. In addition, it combines perfectly with plain tones such as black, white, or dark green. The fabric is printed with one-sided sublimation technology, which guarantees high definition of the design and greater durability. Among its general characteristics, it stands out for being chlorine resistant and having a very high UV protection factor.
Recycled Lycra is perfect for making bath products such as bikinis or swimsuits, as well as for hair ties or scrunchies. It is also ideal for home decoration. Its care is simple, as it cannot be bleached, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC with cold ironing, and tumble drying is not advised. In addition, it has GRS certification and is a sustainable fabric as it is made from recycled materials.
The printing technology used to manufacture Recycled Lycra is sublimation, which consists of printing the design on special transfer paper and then thermally transferring it to the fabric. This process allows the design to penetrate inside the fiber, which guarantees high quality and durability, as well as a wide variety of colors and details.
