The fabric in question is Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support, a knitted fabric composed of 95% polyester and 5% elastane. With a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm, this fabric is suitable for making fashion garments such as tops, knitwear, lingerie, and even sports accessories and scrunchies. Its texture is soft and elastic to the touch, as well as visually opaque.
As for the printed design, it features a vector pattern of hearts in night black, pepper red, and midnight black. It is a very simple design, with an aesthetic suitable for both patterns and home decor. The fabric is printed on one side only using sublimation technology, which means the design is printed only on the front of the fabric.
The fabric has elastic characteristics that allow for excellent body adaptation, as well as a pleasant sensation when worn. The printed design presents high definition and durability in colors, thanks to the printing technique used. It is important to note that this type of fabric is suitable for the production of garments that require a certain elasticity, such as bras, bralettes, and sports tops. In addition, the fabric adapts well to the use of cutting plotters, so it can be used for the production of custom-made garments.
Regarding the care required for the fabric, it is necessary to wash at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees and avoid the use of bleaches. The fabric admits dry cleaning, provided that trichloroethylene is avoided. Ironing of the fabric must be at a cool temperature, on the reverse side of the garment. Finally, it is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, which allows an image to be transferred through the use of ink and transfer paper. This printing process is carried out through a thermal transfer process in which the ink sublimes, meaning it turns into gas and adheres to the surface of the fabric. This produces a high-quality and durable print that lasts for a long time.
