Recycled Lycra is a type of Lycra fabric with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. This fabric is perfect for making swimwear and fashion garments thanks to its soft and elastic texture, as well as its chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection. The printed design is geometric in style with vector patterns of triangles in midnight blue, navy blue, and medium blue, making it perfect to combine with solid colors such as white, black, or light blue.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which makes it a high-quality and durable fabric. In addition, it has GRS certification, which guarantees that it has been manufactured with recycled materials and in a sustainable way.
This fabric is ideal for making sports, swimwear, and fashion garments in general, thanks to its characteristics and attributes that provide elasticity, softness, and resistance. Its use is recommended for making bikinis, swimsuits, and scrunchies, among others.
It is important to note that the care instructions for this fabric include avoiding bleaching, washing at maximum temperatures of 40ºC, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that involves printing the design on transfer paper, which is then placed on the fabric and subjected to high temperatures so that the ink transfers to the fabric. This process guarantees high quality and sharpness in the printed design.
