Recycled Lycra fabric is a sustainable lycra with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a composition of 85% recycled polyester and 15% elastane. Its printed design features a modern art style depicting a landscape with trees, using deep sea green as the main base color at 50.15%, followed by another shade of deep sea green at 45.21%, and SeaGreen as an accent at 4.51%. Additionally, it can be combined with plain green or neutral tones to highlight its design.
The fabric, printed with the one-sided digital textile print design, is soft, elastic, chlorine-resistant, and boasts a very high UV protection factor of 50+. The complexity of the printed design is simple, yet its modern style and the nature depicted in the trees and landscape give it timeless beauty and versatility in terms of its use.
Recycled Lycra is ideal for applications and uses such as hair ties and scrunchies, as well as for making swimwear like bikinis and swimsuits, and fashion swimwear. The fabric is also GRS certified, meaning it complies with environmental and social standards, and its sustainability is reflected in its recycled composition.
For fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach, machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron at low temperature, and do not tumble dry. These care precautions extend the life of the fabric and maintain its stability.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, where ink is transferred from paper to fabric using an inkjet printer and a heat and pressure process. This allows for greater precision and sharpness in reproducing the design, while also guaranteeing its durability and resistance to wear and tear with use and washing.
