Satin - Amsterdam

The Amsterdam Satin/Rayon fabric is a high-quality fabric made entirely of polyester. It has a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric has a shiny visual texture and a smooth, thin feel, making it ideal for making garments for both men and women, such as shirts, blouses, jumpsuits, skirts, trousers, tops, scarves, pajamas, dresses, and, especially, for bridal lingerie.

As for the printed design, it presents a standard complexity and is inspired by modern art, with a wide range of colors that provide a feeling of joy and vibrancy, which gives it a very colorful style. The design features geometric shapes, with a predominance of circles and polka dots. The main colors of the design are multicolor, which means that they can be combined with other solid colors such as white, black, or even pastel shades.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing, which means that only one side is decorated. In addition, this fabric offers great versatility, thanks to its characteristics such as softness, lightness, and resistance, making it an ideal option for making various garments.

The care of this fabric is simple, as it can be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, but bleaching is not recommended. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a warm temperature. On the other hand, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature without problems.

Finally, this fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology on polyester. This technique consists of printing a transfer paper with sublimable ink and subjecting it to high temperatures together with the fabric, which allows the ink to turn into vapor and permanently adhere to the polyester fibers that make up the fabric, creating a resistant and durable printed design.
