The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo stands out for its composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, which provides it with an elastic and soft texture to the touch. Its weight of 220 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm make it a resistant and quality fabric for multiple applications.
The printed design is characterized by its artistic simplicity, with a decorative style that uses main multicolor colors to bring a vibrant and cheerful look to the fabric. This design could combine perfectly with plain colors such as white, black or pastel pink.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which means that only one side of the fabric has the printed design.
Regarding the general characteristics, the Polyester Lycra - Cairo is chlorine resistant and provides a very high UV protection of 50+ thanks to its finish. In addition, its elasticity makes it ideal for sports or lingerie applications.
Regarding applications and uses, this fabric is perfect for making sportswear, lingerie, tops, bikinis and swimsuits. It is also very useful in making scrunchies or knitting garments.
For its care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use a dryer. In addition, it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene and ironed at cold temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows the design to merge with the fabric fibers permanently.
