The Tweed - Chanel fabric stands out for its 100% polyester composition and a grammage of 420 gr/m2, which gives it rigidity and structure. The printed design combines different styles, such as street art, geometric, and a vintage touch, all with standard complexity. The result is a multicolor and colorful design, with a touch of graffiti that gives it an urban and daring look.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only. It is important to note that this is not a double-sided printed fabric but a single-sided one, which implies greater delicacy in care and handling.
The general characteristics of the fabric are its rigid and tactile texture, making it ideal for fashion garments such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, shorts, and bow ties, among others. It also has applications in home textiles, such as living room, bedroom, and kitchen cushions, and outdoor decoration.
Regarding care, it is important to avoid bleaching and not exceed 30 degrees when washing. Dry cleaning is recommended except for trichloroethylene, and ironing at a cool temperature. It is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used is sublimation (polyester), which allows the design to be permanently transferred to the fabric. This process involves applying heat and pressure so that the sublimation inks turn into gas and penetrate the polyester fibers to create a vibrant and sharp image.
Regarding the combination of solid colors, it is recommended to use neutral tones such as white, black, or grey to highlight the multicolor tones of the print. It could also be combined with tones that appear in the design, such as red, blue, or green.
