The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo 220 gr/m2 features an intricate and artistic modern style print design in bright multicolor shades. This single-sided fabric, digitally printed, is elastic and soft to the touch, and also has chlorine-resistant finishes and very high UV protection 50+.
Its applications and uses are diverse, as it can be used in sportswear for women, men, and children, in lingerie such as bodysuits and bras, in fashion for knitwear and tops, in scrunchies, and in swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits. In addition, thanks to its weight of 220 gr/m2, it is ideal for body-hugging garments.
To properly maintain and care for this fabric, it is important to follow some recommendations such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 40°C, and ironing it at a cool temperature. It can also be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation with polyester, which allows the design to be permanently fixed to the fabric. Through this process, an image printed on paper is transferred to the surface of the fabric using heat and pressure.
