The base fabric for this printed design is the Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The design consists of simple shapes like moons, stars, and clouds in denim blue, cotton white, and rose gold tones, ideal for a childrens theme or home decor. This printed design could be combined with solid colors like white, pale pink, or light gray to balance the intensity of the design.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means the print is only on one side of the fabric. The fabric has a water-repellent finish, making it water-resistant, and an antibacterial finish that helps prevent the growth of bacteria. The fabrics texture is rough to the touch.
The application of this fabric is very versatile and adapts to different needs. It can be used for fashion, in pants and accessories such as backpacks and wallets. It is also suitable for decorating different spaces in the home, such as the dining room, living room, or bedroom, and for creating cushions, loungers, tablecloths, or decorative frames.
It is important to keep in mind some recommendations for caring for this fabric. First, do not use bleach. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 60ºC and it can be dry cleaned with the exception of trichloroethylene. It should be ironed at a warm temperature and tumble drying is not recommended.
This fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology, which consists of applying special inks onto paper with the desired design and then transferring the image to the fabric using heat and pressure. Sublimation is a digital textile printing technique that allows for high definition and fidelity of the design, as well as a resistant and durable finish.
