The Satin - Amsterdam fabric is a satin fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 120 gr/m2. It has a width of 150 cm and is perfect for making fashion garments, lingerie, and accessories. In addition, its printed design features a combination of drawings, vibrant colors, and a vintage style that gives it a unique character. The design is characterized by being multicolored, with a drawn and colorful style that gives it a bold and modern personality. The design can be combined with solid colors such as neutral colors, navy blue, yellow, or pink.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing. It is important to note that, as it is a single-sided printed fabric, we must take this characteristic into account for its correct use in garment making.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight its visual sheen that gives it an elegant and sophisticated appearance, its smooth and thin feel that makes it pleasant to the touch with the skin. On the other hand, the printed design presents a smooth texture and a vintage style that gives personality to the fabric.
The applications and uses of the Satin - Amsterdam fabric are varied, highlighting its use in fashion for making garments such as shirts, blouses, dresses, pants, skirts, tops, and accessories such as scarves. It is also used in making lingerie for pajamas, dresses and brides, and as kimono fabric. Its wide variety of applications is due to its versatility and ability to adapt to various styles and designs.
Regarding the care instructions, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at a warm temperature, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature. In addition, the fabric can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which uses specialized inks and paper to transfer the design to the fabric. The sublimation technique is highly effective and allows for precise designs with high resolution and vibrant tones.
