The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, features a very colorful and artistic printed design. Its complexity is very simple and is characterized by being abstract and drawn, which gives it a unique and special touch. The main colors that stand out in this design are multicolor, allowing it to be combined with a wide variety of plain colors such as white, black, blue, red, and yellow, among others.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing; therefore, it is not a double-sided printed fabric, but only on one side. The fabric is elastic, chlorine-resistant, and has a very high UV protection UPF 50+, making it an excellent option for sportswear, swimwear, and lingerie. Additionally, its soft texture and finish make it ideal for creating modern and sophisticated styles.
Among the most recommended applications and uses for this type of fabric are swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, sports tights and leggings, as well as lingerie items, bodysuits, and fashion swimwear. Furthermore, its season is timeless, making it an ideal choice for any time of the year.
This type of fabric requires certain special care to maintain its quality and durability. It is recommended not to bleach, not to tumble dry, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and iron at a cool temperature. It allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique consists of applying ink to special paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This achieves a high-definition and high-quality print that resists the test of time and use in clothing.
