Glasgow fabric is a blend of polyester, viscose, and elastane, ideal for making outerwear. Its printed design stands out for its simplicity, with dominant circles and polka dots drawn in shades of pepper red, seaweed green, and forest green. This color combination allows for the creation of elegant and vibrant garments that can be paired with solid tones like black, white, or gray.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, meaning it is not a double-sided printed fabric but a single-sided one. Its texture is soft to the touch, making it ideal for high-quality garments.
The fabric has a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is a very versatile fabric that adapts to different applications and uses. In fashion, it can be used to make coats, trench coats, jackets, blazers, among other garments. It is also suitable for home decoration, such as coasters or kitchen towels.
To preserve the quality of the fabric, it is important to consider its care, avoiding bleaching and dry cleaning. It is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron it at a warm temperature. In addition, it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technology used for the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which is used for printing on polyester fabrics. This process is carried out by applying heat and pressure to a digital print, which allows the ink to fuse into the fabric and become permanently printed.
