The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is an elastic lycra with a weight of 270 gr/m2, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. This fabric is suitable for multiple applications, from lingerie and sportswear to swimwear. Its printed design features a very simple decorative style, with a color palette that includes an intense pepper red, a gold rose, and a soft daisy pink. This design can be perfectly combined with solid colors in neutral tones such as white, black, or gray, but also with green, orange, or light yellow tones.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which means the design is on only one side of the fabric. The fabrics characteristics include its soft and elastic texture, its chlorine-resistant finish, and a very high sun protection factor of 50+. The design printed on the fabric is very simple yet striking and can be used for swimwear as well as sportswear or fashion garments.
The applications and uses of this fabric are wide, as mentioned earlier, and are especially suitable for manufacturing light and comfortable garments. For example, lingerie and bodysuits can be made with this fabric due to its soft and elastic texture. It is also excellent for manufacturing swimwear, including bikinis and swimsuits, as it has a very high sun protection factor which is extremely important for sun-exposed skin. The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is also suitable for sportswear such as leotards or leggings due to its chlorine-resistant finish.
It is important to note the necessary care for this fabric, which includes not bleaching the fabric and avoiding the use of trichloroethylene during dry cleaning processes. In addition, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron at a cool temperature. A tumble dryer should not be used to avoid damage to the fabric.
The printing technology used to create this fabric is sublimation, which is a printing technique that uses specialized ink to print images onto the fabric. This is a very durable technique that will not fade with use or repeated washes. Sublimation printing is also known for producing bright and vibrant colors in a wide variety of designs.
