The fabric in question is the Punto Jersey de Tacto Algodón - Atenas, a knit fabric with a composition of polyester, acrylic, and elastane, making it soft and elastic to the touch. With a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for winter and fall/winter 2021 knitwear. Its printed design, created using sublimation technology on polyester, features a very simple art-modern style drawing with the marbled texture of artistic paint. The main colors are multicolored, allowing the fabric to be combined with many plain colors, such as white, pink, black, or gray.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning only the front of the fabric has the design. In terms of its general characteristics, both the fabric and the printed design have a soft and elastic texture, making it comfortable to wear and easy to work with when making knit garments.
Given that the fabric is suitable for lingerie, pajamas, jerseys, tops, knitwear, dresses, cardigans, blankets, napkins, scarves, wraps, childrens knitwear, and socks, it offers a wide variety of applications and uses. Its incredible softness makes it perfect for lingerie and pajamas, while its elasticity is ideal for winter fashion and knitwear. Living room and bedroom blankets are also an excellent option due to their soft and warm texture.
Regarding care instructions, the Punto Jersey de Tacto Algodón - Atenas fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, should not be bleached or tumble dried, can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a cool temperature.
As for the printing technology used to produce this fabric, sublimation on polyester is a process where specialized ink turns into gas when heated. This gas penetrates the fabric fibers, giving the design a vibrant and long-lasting appearance that does not fade or crack over time.
