The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, stands out for its elastic texture and chlorine-resistant finish, making it ideal for use in sportswear and swimwear. The printed design features an artistic style, with brushstroke shapes intricately woven into a highly detailed floral pattern. The main colors are coral blue, light orange, and olive green, which bring freshness and vitality to the ensemble. Additionally, this fabric would pair perfectly with solid tones of black, white, and pale pink. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of this fabric include its pleasant feel and elasticity, allowing it to conform comfortably to the body. Furthermore, it boasts very high UV protection with a factor of 50+, making it ideal for use in swimwear and outdoor sportswear. Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those already mentioned, its use in lingerie and dance or gymnastics leotards is noteworthy.
For its care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to use a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC. This fabric can be dry-cleaned, but trichloroethylene should not be used in the process. When ironing, it is important to do so at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the fibers. It is not suitable for tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows the design to be transferred to the fabric precisely and durably, with excellent image quality and a wide color range.
