The base fabric for this description is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. But what truly stands out about this fabric is its printed design, featuring marine animals – fish and an octopus – with a marine style and a simple complexity design. The main colors of this design are sky blue, basketball orange, and cantaloupe orange. This design can be perfectly combined with plain fabrics in navy blue, burgundy, or off-white tones.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side only, using digital textile printing, which ensures that the design is printed with high quality and definition. It is not a double-sided printed fabric, but rather printed on one side to preserve the fabrics softness and strength.
The general characteristics of this fabric are its soft touch and visual shine, thanks to its composition and the printing technology used for the design. In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for decorating and upholstering furniture, such as chairs, armchairs, and sofas, for both outdoor and indoor use. It can also be used for making fashion garments for both women and men, such as pants, overshirts, jackets, blazers, and vests. Additionally, it is perfect for making accessories like bags and backpacks.
Regarding the care required for this fabric, it is important to note that bleaching is not allowed, and the maximum washing temperature is 30ºC. The garment should not be dry cleaned, but it does allow for professional dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. When ironing, a cool temperature should be used, and it should not be tumble-dried.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which ensures high graphic quality and greater design durability. Sublimation involves printing the design onto special paper and then pressing it onto the fabric at high temperatures so that the ink fuses with the fabric fibers, creating a durable design resistant to fading and abrasions.
