The fabric in question is the Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Atenas, a knit fabric with a composition of polyester (81%), acrylic (15%), and elastane (4%). Its grammage is 239 gr/m2 and it has a width of 150cm. The printed design on this fabric presents standard complexity with an abstract and drawn style, featuring moon shapes in main colors of night blue (80.82%), plum purple (6.55%), and pale pink (4.8%). Additionally, it could be combined with other solid colors such as white, black, or grey.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, so it is not a double-sided printed fabric but rather printed on one side. The fabric has general characteristics of softness and elasticity, which makes it very comfortable to wear. The printed design, for its part, adds an abstract and artistic touch to the fabric, creating an interesting contrast with the smooth surface of the fabric.
Among the applications and uses for this fabric are lingerie, pajamas, jerseys, tops, knitwear, dresses, cardigans, throws for the living room and bedroom, socks, scarves, childrens knitwear, and baby blankets. Its versatility makes it ideal for a wide variety of sewing projects.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned, provided that trichloroethylene is not used, and ironed at a cool temperature. It should not be tumble dried to prevent it from losing softness and elasticity.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation with polyester. This process is carried out by transferring a digital design to the fabric using heat and pressure, resulting in a high-quality print that is resistant to washing and wear.
