The Atenas Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit fabric is ideal for crafting lingerie, fashion apparel, accessories, and home decor items. The printed design, featuring abstract paper airplane shapes in predominant shades of denim blue, cotton white, and light aqua green, gives the fabric a modern and original touch, perfect for the winter and autumn/winter 2021 season. This design is printed on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a double-sided fabric but rather printed on a single side. The fabric stands out for its softness and elasticity, making it pleasant to the touch and easy to adapt to the body. Furthermore, it is resistant and durable, thanks to its composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied, ranging from knitwear such as sweaters, cardigans, and dresses, to accessories like socks, scarves, or shawls. Home decor items such as blankets or napkins can also be created. With other solid colors, this fabric could be combined with white, black, gray, and lighter shades of blue.
It is important to note that this fabric requires specific care, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. Dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, is recommended to extend the fabrics lifespan.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for a high degree of detail and vibrant colors in the printed design. This technique involves applying heat and pressure to transfer the image printed on paper to the fabric, thus creating a durable and high-quality finish.
