The base fabric for this design is Paño Glasgow, a wool-like fabric composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. With a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is perfect for making warm, high-quality garments. The printed design on it features a simple complexity with a decorative style, representing lip shapes to create a kiss pattern. The main colors of the design are bear brown (94.07%), cotton white (3.88%), and almond ecru (0.9%). This design could be perfectly combined with neutral plain tones such as black, gray, or brown.
The texture of Paño Glasgow is soft to the touch, providing a very pleasant feel. On the other hand, the printed design carries significant symbolic weight and intensely represents the emotion of a kiss. This fabric can be used for outerwear such as coats, jackets, or blazers, but can also be employed in home decor like coasters or religious altars. This fabric is perfect for use during the winter and autumn/winter 2021 seasons.
It is important to note very precise care recommendations for this fabric. The garment does not allow dry cleaning, but it is possible to machine wash it at a maximum temperature of 40°C and iron it at a warm temperature. However, tumble drying is not allowed, nor should it be bleached.
The printing technology used for this design is sublimation (polyester). This is a digital textile printing technique that involves transferring sublimation ink to special transfer paper. Subsequently, using a heat press, heat and pressure are applied to the transfer paper so that the ink is permanently transferred to the fabric. It should be noted that, in this case, the printing is done only on one side of the fabric.
