Recycled Lycra fabric is a stretchy and soft fabric weighing 190 gr/m2, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. This fabric features GRS recycled sustainability certification and is ideal for making bikinis and swimsuits thanks to its chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+. As for its printed design, it features a simple complexity that combines Chinese and Taoist styles with yin yang shapes and oriental symbols in night black, cotton white, and dark red. This fabric is digitally printed on one side.
The characteristics of Recycled Lycra make it a versatile and high-quality fabric. Its softness and elasticity ensure a comfortable feel and proper adaptation to the body. As for its printed design, it is suitable for garments seeking an oriental and sophisticated style. Additionally, this fabric is ideal for making hair ties, scrunchies, and sportswear and swimwear.
It is important to note that this fabric requires special care for its proper preservation. It is recommended not to bleach, wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, dry cleaning is not allowed, and iron at a cool temperature. Also, it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the sublimation technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric allows for high-quality and durable printing on the fabric surface. Sublimation consists of the direct transfer of ink to the fabric through the use of heat and pressure, which guarantees a uniform and long-lasting finish.
This fabric can be combined with solid tones such as red, white, or black for a harmonious blend. In summary, Recycled Lycra is a high-quality fabric, with an oriental and elegant printed design, versatile, and sustainable.
